To winter

The passing of time which erases, nature that changes with the seasons and its whims, inexorable and illusive laws of nature, and … that image which seizes the moment which we don’t want to let go, these fleeting impressions, as if the end of the world was being hinted at. We will never grow tired of contemplating this nature, sometimes so troubling, always so surprising, to challenge it, to penetrate its mysteries- looking for an ever more evocative synesthesia.

A photo: a place, a date, an event, a feeling, immortalised by the photographer’s eye.

Le temps qui passe et qui efface, la nature qui change au gré des saisons et de ses caprices, inexorables et insaisissables lois de la nature, et… cette image qui fixe l’instant que l’on ne veut laisser filer, ces impressions éphémères, comme si la fin du monde s’annonçait en filigrane. On ne saurait se lasser de contempler cette nature si troublante parfois, si étonnante toujours, de la défier, de percer ses mystères – en proie à une synesthésie toujours plus évocatrice.
